A Day in Chivay

Chivay, a small town in Peru right before our Colca Canyon Hike. This town was so colourful and vibrant, with an ongoing market and the best street food. Here we were able to really appreciate the day to day lives of the locals and I was in awe of the amazing detailed clothing and hats the indigenous people made and wore on a daily basis. This woman was standing right in front of this brilliant yellow wall and was kind enough to stand for a photo for us.
