Farm Series is a collection of works inspired by my Family Farm in Northeast Vic and was created during a period of Covid 19 lockdowns where I couldn't visit my family. Painting these pieces created a link between my family and I and helped to fill a void until I could see them again.
This collection is inspired from an overseas trip to South America and the connection the local people had to the goddess La Pachamama. During this trip I became obsessed with the idea of Pachamama being an artist who created the landscapes I saw by pouring paint onto the earth, just like the way I painted.
Weekly Wandering Collection
This collection was a celebration of the landscapes around Geelong and a way to better get to know my new home town. Each week for 12 weeks I visited a new place, created sketches, took photos and brought the images back to my home studio to create the works.
