The Light on the Bluff

A little sneak peak at the beautiful view I have from my current home, we are only in this home for a short time and while I'm here I wanted to capture the ever changing light across the bluff. This view has meant so much to me in this season of life where I've had such limited time to spend in the studio.

Getting up early with the girls and watching as the colours in the sky change over the bluff, or taking in the view while playing on the floor with the girls or going through the day to day tasks of preparing food, cleaning up, navigating emotions ... then watching the light fade at the end of the day and having a moment of calm before the bedtime chaos begins.

I've been documenting this changing light through photographs and sketches and am working towards something that I can't wait to share with you soon.

Big love,

Nic

I know the bluff means a lot to both locals and people visiting alike, a spectacular part this country and a place that has started to feel like home to me. From growing up around gumtrees and feeling connected to riverbeds and gums as my place of calm, to living by the coast and adding this beautiful place as a feeling like I've made it back home, the calm and comfort of this view has settled in, and I'm so excited to share more of this place with you soon,

Big love,

Nic
