When It Rains, It Pours was originally created to celebrate those times in life when your’re living in your joy and when you remain present to that, more joy seems to keep rolling in, a celebration of all the magical colours in the rainforest that come after a rain shower.

 

However, as I was creating this piece the opposite started to happen, one of those times when challenges don’t arrive one at a time, but all at once.

 

This piece then became about those overwhelming chapters in life where it feels like you’re constantly bracing yourself. Where the weight builds, and you wonder how much more you can carry.

 

But through the joyous times or the challenging ones, the sunshine still comes through after the rain, and when its joyous, remember to soak it all in, and when its challenging, remember it will pass, and the sun will come out again and bring colour back into your world just like the rainforest after a storm.
